Daniel Furiak

Daniel Furiak, Master Gunnery Sergeant (Ret.), is an expert in logistics and sustainment operations. He retired in 2017 after 30 years of active duty in the Marine Corps. His last assignment was at the Pentagon as the Senior Enlisted Advisor (SEA) for two Deputy Commandants. His service includes deployments supporting humanitarian and stability operations, as well as seven combat tours. Since retiring, Daniel has continued to develop his skills and apply them to both the military and industry. He started as a Senior Analyst, became a Principal at a large Washington D.C. Consulting firm, and now owns his own consulting firm, A.R.K. Consulting LLC. His understanding of Joint Capability Development (JCIDS) and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processes helps his clients achieve their strategic goals. His Pentagon experience enables him to identify, track, and navigate the DoD funding streams process, allowing him to assist clients more effectively.

Sarah Parker

Sarah Parker With over 23 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), I have a strong understanding of clinical operations, patient/client care, demanding cross-functional coordination and timing, and compliance with strict policies and guidance. Throughout my career, I have been supporting office professionals from widely different disciplines while streamlining workflows and maintaining high-quality outcomes in fast-paced and sometimes emotionally charged environments. Currently serving as the Operations Manager for a government consulting agency, I am leveraging my extensive healthcare management experience to lead acquisition support, logistics coordination, and strategic planning—primarily within the Department of Defense (DoD) and federal government sectors. The transition from clinical operations, client coordination, and compliance roles to a more strategic position allows me, with years of proven leadership, to combine my healthcare expertise with mission-focused consulting solutions. Surrounded by a team of professionals, we lead together to help our clients achieve success.

LtGen Dana

Lieutenant General Michael G. Dana USMC, (Ret.) LtGen Dana retired from the United States Marine Corps on 1 September 2019. He graduated from Union College in Schenectady, New York and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in June of 1982. In a career spanning thirty-seven years he served as an armor officer, a logistics officer, and a strategic planner. As a three-star general officer he served as the Deputy Commandant for Installations and Logistics (DC I&L) and as the Director of the Marine Corps staff (DMCS). Over his thirty-seven-year career LtGen Dana deployed ten times, including seven humanitarian, peacekeeping, or combat deployments. He was an infantry battalion logistics officer in Desert Storm, a landing support company commander in Somalia in 1992, a NATO staff officer in the Former Republic of Yugoslavia in 1996, a staff officer with a joint command in Kuwait in 2004/5, the commander of Marine Wing Support Group 37 in Iraq in 2006/7, a logistics officer in Haiti in 2010, and the Commanding General of 2d Marine Logistics Group in 2011/12 in Afghanistan.
